Sea Bright's Getting Ready for Memorial Day

Sea Bright, NJ - With Memorial Day just a few short weeks away, business owners throughout the Jersey Shore are scrambling to complete post-Sandy restoration in time for the unofficial kick-off of the summer season. Joe Wehner & Sons was recently in Sea Bright, NJ removing sand and installing base material under the iconic ocean-front cabanas to prepare for the paving of parking spots to accommodate the (hopefully) thriving tourist season.

Sea Bright, a small town along the ocean in Monmouth County, was hard hit by Hurricane Sandy and still, 6 months later, experiences major flooding due to Sandy’s obliteration of all preventative measures the community had in place before the storm. Even though the community is still dealing with the damaging effects of Superstorm Sandy, they continue to stay “Jersey Strong,” and believe that soon efforts will be underway to thwart any further damage.
